Are you interested in meeting fellow cyclists?

There are many great cycling routes in the area. The route for each meetup is chosen based on the interests of the group.

Pencil in these dates for summer 2026: Sat July 18th, and Sat Aug 15th. To be confirmed based on the forecast. Notices are sent out a few days ahead.

2026 AMM - SATURDAY, AUGUST 1 – 9 TO 10:30 AM

Please join us for updates and conversation.

Join us from 8:30 for coffee and snacks.

The meeting will begin at 9 and include updates from our Seguin councillors and mayor, reports and upcoming plans of the LJNA, and conversation about how to best enjoy and steward our treasured Lake Joe.

Benthic Sampling Day 2026 (6 Aug 2026)

Our Benthic monitoring program continues for 2026 on Thursday August 6 th.

We welcome all those interested in learning more about the “bugs in the mud” and lake health,

With the guidance of the District of Muskoka Biomonitoring Technician, volunteers will identify creatures collected in the benthic zone from one or two appropriate sites on the lake. About 6 to 8 volunteers are required for a couple of hours.

Benthic sampling provides an indicator of lake health; Benthic invertebrates are responsive to environmental impacts, therefore a diverse Benthic population is is a sign of a productive and healthy ecosystem.
